Completing a Sitting Area
These black walnut chairs were designed along with the Staked Ash Table as a set to complete a sitting area. They are situated within a relatively open layout house at a central point where the kitchen/dining room and the living room converge. The idea was to use one curve for both the front and back legs creating a sensation of springing up from the legs. They are finished with a wiping varnish.
