Simple and Refined
The Hall Bench is one of my favorite pieces. Its striking lines and subtle, clean details give a fresh energy to a timeless form. Inspired by Shaker design, it’s built with through tenons in the seat and wedged tenons in the stretcher below—a celebration of honest craftsmanship and lasting strength.
Equally at home in an entryway, hallway, or living room, the Hall Bench adds quiet elegance wherever it sits. The Shakers weren’t known for flash, but I never minded calling a little attention to myself. Finished with a hand-applied wiping varnish that reveals the warmth and character of the wood.
